Diamond Buckley, 23 years old, and my pronouns are she/her.

Where are you from?

I’m from St. Louis, Missouri.

How would you identify?

I identify as a cisgender, bisexual woman.

What will Gen Z be remembered for?

I believe Gen z will be remembered for how much we choose to break the mold. I notice that as a generation we’re really working hard to think outside of what society tells us to and we’re finding more answers within ourselves than externally.

Where did your love of painting come from?

Honestly it kind of just came out of nowhere one day. I’m a very creative person in general and I’m always looking for ways to express that. One day I think I was just watching a painting video and I was like “hey I wanna try that!”

What’s your dream space to have your work on display in?

I would looove to do a mural one day. The location doesn’t really matter to me. Maybe somewhere where no one would vandalize it. But I think it’d be so cool to have my art displayed on a huge wall where tons of people pass by often.

Who gave you the best piece of advice in your life and what was it?

I don’t remember where or who shared it, but one day I read this post about projection and how most people treat you is just a projection of their inner self. And to basically not let it impact you. And it literally changed my life because i think about that at least once a day and it’s helped me so much with how I react to situations and how I let it affect me, because most of the time people’s actions are just a reflection of how they feel about themselves.

Why is modeling so important to you, how does it impact your life?

Modeling is a great way for me to release my creativity and it has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

What is something that nobody knows about you?

This is a hard question because I’m pretty open book, but I don’t think anyone knows that I’m terrified of fish, like deathly terrified.
